NAE Grand Challenges Scholars Program

2016 National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges Scholars Program Annual Meeting

The 2016 Annual Meeting of the NAE Grand Challenge Scholars Program (GCSP) was held on October 7, 2016 in Washington, DC. The event was focused on the discussion of best practices, ways to build GCSP momentum and enhance its visibility, ways to connect with K-12, developing corporate and foundation partnerships, and identifying areas in need of programmatic support.

The Grand Challenges Scholars Program is poised to expand significantly in the next few years. This meeting worked to lay the foundation for that expansion and determine the measures needed to ensure the success, effectiveness, and sustainability of this visionary program.
